Recovery Engineer USA, California, Palo Alto

Join our Recovery team and utilize your industrial bioprocessing and cell separation experience in a dynamic, project driven environment.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our team in Palo Alto with the following skills and experience:

• Recovery of small molecules from fermentation process
  
• Expertise in separation technology such as absorption, adsorption, extraction, distillation, filtration, membrane separation
  
• Experience in scale-up/down bioprocesses
  
• Strong background in physical chemistry, heat and mass transfer
  
• Fermentation process analysis and microbial physiology knowledge desirable
  
• Metabolic pathway engineering experience preferred but not essential

You are degree qualified and are able to meet the following requirements:

• MS/PhD in Biochemical / Chemical Engineering or related field
  
• 2 or more years bio-processing industrial experience, with hands on emphasis
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Strong team player, self starter with good organizational skills and leadership potential
  
• Some travel required
