We are looking for for an energetic Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate should have a positive attitude towards detailed analysis. Future growth potential includes advanced analytical method development. This position requires technical contributions to process development projects with a strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. In this role you will:
Perform automated enzyme assays
Assist engineers with biochemical and physical characterization of process streams
Gel electrophoresis
Viscosity
Particle size distribution
Total protein
Manual enzyme activity assays
HPLC separations
Follow standard operating procedures and document analytical data
Assist in the development of new analytical test methods
You are able to bring the following skills and attributes to the role:
Meticulous and observant
Proven ability to deliver high quality results
Experience in a bio-analytical laboratory an advantage or relevant coursework/training.
A bachelor’s degree in a scientific field would be a plus.
Accurate and timely reporting of results
Strong organizational skills
Positive attitude
