Process Technician II USA, Wisconsin, Beloit

We are currently seeking two Process Technicians to join our fun, dynamic Beloit team. Utilize your technical & troubleshooting skills, coupled with attention to detail in this integral role.

We are looking for talented individuals to join our Beloit, Wisconsin manufacturing team in the role of Process Technician. The Process Technician position has primary responsibility for operating equipment in one of our process areas to produce quality products for our customers and maximize our enzyme manufacturing. We have rotating 12-hour shifts to support our 7-day, 24-hour operation. Candidates must be flexible to participate in training and potential shift changes and overtime. Responsibilities include:
• Perform core process operations, which may include: mash prep, fermentation, recovery, DCS, material handling, receiving, shipping, packaging, loading, unloading, and working outdoors
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Work with team members to optimize the process
• Actively participate in crew and ring team activities (including: definition of best practices, consensus decision making, SOP development and maintenance, training, continuous improvement efforts and standardization)
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing with regard to: division of tasks, cross over, e-mail, problem resolution, feedback, process documentation, etc.
• Work in an organized and safe manner. Addresses safety, GMP and housekeeping concerns.
• Actively participates in training process. (Asks questions, clarify understanding and provide feedback to trainer.
• Demonstrates high quality and integrity in work.
• Contributes to continuous improvement through observations, attention to detail and follow through.
• Implement, adhere to and recommend changes to ISO standards.

You are an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player who communicates in an open, honest manner. You keep a positive attitude and work through issues in a constructive manner. You are able to work 12-hour rotating shifts which include every other weekend. Work half the days in a year with a 3 day weekend off every other weekend! You must be flexible to participate in training and potential shift changes and overtime. Candidates will need to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. In addition, qualified candidates should possess the following:
• Basic computer and math skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to define, write and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and coordinate activities.
• Systematic decision making, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to wear respirator.
• Ability to do moderate to heavy lifting. ( 55 lbs )
• Ability to do moderate to heavy stair climbing.
• Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 3 years of process equipment experience or a 2-year advanced degree in a Bio-tech related field
