Senior Project Associate Vacancy in IITK

Applications are invited for the temporary project positions in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering to work on the consultancy research project (No. C-HLL-BSBE-20070256) from Hindustan Latex Ltd (HLL).
Title: Development of a cryogel filter for leukocyte depletion: biotechnical blood transfusion
Senior Project Associate – Two
Qualification: Master of Science (M.Sc)-Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Chemistry/ Microbiology/Biotechnology and two years of research experience or Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharma)/Master of Technology (Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates with MBBS degree can also apply.
Candidates with a proven experience of working with animal cell culture technology, polymer technology, bioprocess technology and hands on experience with flow cytometry/atomic force microscopy/confocal microscopy will be given preference. Candidates are expected to work in a multidisciplinary research area.
Duration: Initially for one year and based on the performance extendable by one more year
Salary: Rs. 9,000 to Rs. 10,000 per month consolidated
